The Work Family Guest Ranch has horse summer camps for children and teens at all riding levels. Our horseback summer camps feature 3 - 4 days of horsemanship, trail riding, cattle, and technical skills. We have guest speakers at our youth horse riding summer camps. We also have horse riding camps during the winter & spring break.

After basic horse riding instruction, campers will enjoy the horse trails covering our 12,000 acre cattle ranch.

The ranch horseback camps are located near Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo, California midway between San Fransico and Los Angeles, CA.

Learn horsemanship skills while making new friends, trail riding, gymkhana fun, working cattle and listening to horse riding experts. Year round camps are offered for young people ages 8 years and up. Your children will love our trustworthy horses, caring instructors, and healthy home cooked meals.

Learn horsemanship skills while making new friends. The instructor, Kelly Work, is an accomplished horsewomen and mother of three rodeo children who love to rope and ride on the ranch. Our horses love kids and are proven mounts. Whatever your riding level, we try to help you accomplish your goals in a safe and fun environment.

Horses, meals, speakers, overnight accommodations and lots of fun is included in the cost. Discounts are offered for multiple family members. Special group discounts offered to Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, and other youth organizations.

YOUTH HORSE CAMP 101

Our traditional week of horseback trail riding, arena games, a taste of cattle work, guest speakers, horsemanship, camp fire, great food and an all around Cowkid experience.

 

 

 

YOUTH RODEO CAMP

Rodeo Camp is for the young horse rider than might be interested in learning what rodeo is all about and for the experienced rodeo rider than wants to improve their technical skills and times. Guest rodeo speakers visit throughout the week coaching the kids as they prepare for Junior and High School Rodeo.

 

YOUTH WESTERN PLEASURE HORSEBACK RIDING CAMP

If your focus is on Western Pleasure come enjoy a week of riding with an expert and get show ready. Learn how to groom your horse to perfection and become more confident in the show ring.

 

 

PRIVATE YOUTH HORSEBACK RIDING CAMPS
